Getting Back into the Creative Swing of Things...

I came across this cute Fabric Tutu on etsy

and thought it would be easy to make.

I knew Nadia would absolutely LOVE it!!!

She had so much fun

helping me pick out the fabric...

Another adorably cute thing I came across...

"A Friendly Monster"

I've been wanting to make something special

for each of my kiddos for Christmas

that involves what their into or love...

Here's a sneak peak at Ian's

Notice the skateboard fabric...

He loooves his "board-boards"

...as he would say ;-)

Another thing I did was

I made the belly a big pocket

so they can put special stuff in it...

And Finally

I've been wanting a place in my kitchen

to post up some new recipes to help me out

when my mind can't think of anything to make

or if I want something new to try...

This is what I came up with...

I wanted it to be magnetic

but most of all

I didn't want it to ruin my cabinets

incase I ever wanted to change the fabric

or take it down...

So I used metal flashing since it was light weight

and white sticky tack and It holds perfectly ;-)

Then I pulled out my collection

of vintage buttons,

got a bunch of magnets

and started glueing away...

This was a fun little project!!!

I've always loved being creative...

And now I'm so excited to be able to share

my creations with many others...

It was convenient getting some of my items

modeled for my Etsy shop!!!

Now that Nadia is going to be sharing her room

with her little brother very soon,

I decided to change up the photo board above the crib...

Four years ago I found this moses basket at a yard sale

just the bare basket no bumper or cushion to it...

So I got to crocheting and was very pleased with the outcome!!!

Only problem was soon after I finished it

I found out that I was having a little girl ;-)

Needless to say, I didn't want to use it for her

and stored it away until now...

I can't wait to have my little Ian fill this basket

which was made just for him!!!

Same goes for the next two blankets...

They've been waiting to be wrapped around Ian's little body...

I've gotten some custom orders from a few people

and have also had fun making some special gifts too...

And of coarse I had to make a couple of these taggy blankets

for my little guy too ;-)

These past few days of beautiful weather

are starting to put me in Spring mode...

I've been collecting some really cute pillow cases...

With the intentions of this ~

A precious pillow case~sun dress for my littlest

or a summer top for the older girls...

8 more days until I find out what we're having ~

a baby boy or girl!!!

Which will decide my future creations...

Can't wait!!!

Winter Wear...
